This application was designed for songwriters and composers that need to get melody ideas quickly. Melody Machine will generate short melody clips that can be saved and reloaded at any time. There are a few predefined note syncopations that can be selected for the melody that is generated. You can change the number of notes in the pattern, and you can specify the maximum note to note interval. It is common for vocal melodies to not make many large interval changes in a sequence, so pinning the max interval to a 3rd or 4th gives really excellent and original melodies.The tempo can be adjusted on the fly, and note syncopation patterns can be tapped out and applied to the generated melody. Your app seems like it could be great! But unfortunately it won't install on my android version which is 2.3.5. I reached out to you twice because of this issue. And the 2nd time I requested a refund, but still haven't heard back on both emails. Please get back in touch regarding that refund, and please continue making improvements on this app. It looks like it has potential if only it could install. I'm giving 5 stars because in the video it shows potential. Have a good day.
If it was possible to export the phrases as a set of midi notes that you could drop into a DAW, then it would be a 5 star app, but still good for getting some melodic progression and ostinatos together.
